Job Description

Salary: $120,000 - 150,000 per year Requirements:

• I hold a Bachelor's degree in Health Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, with a Master's Degree being an advantage.
• I possess over 5 years of experience in IT management, particularly within a healthcare environment.
• I demonstrate strong leadership abilities and effective team management skills.
• I have thorough knowledge of network infrastructure, server management, and cybersecurity.
• I am familiar with EHR/EMR systems, with a particular advantage for experience in Athena Practice Solutions, along with a good understanding of HIPAA compliance and healthcare IT regulations.
• I excel in problem solving, communication, and decision-making.
• I have a solid grasp of regulatory requirements, risk analysis, security architecture, and Business Impact Analysis (BIA), as well as incident response.
• I can effectively lead large-scale projects and engage with systems, networks, and infrastructure whenever necessary.

• I am responsible for developing and implementing IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
• I align IT strategies with the organization’s objectives to boost operational efficiency.
• I evaluate and recommend new technologies to enhance security, productivity, and overall performance.
• I oversee daily IT operations, ensuring prompt internal support for all staff members.
• I manage network infrastructure, servers, workstations, and telecommunications systems while ensuring high availability, security, and performance of IT systems.
• I implement and enforce cybersecurity policies, which include data protection and compliance measures.
• I lead and mentor a team of five IT professionals, managing hiring, training, performance assessments, and disciplinary actions.
• I assign projects, set priorities, and oversee the distribution of the workload.
• I maintain and upgrade IT hardware such as servers, workstations, and network equipment, while also managing software licensing, updates, and system integrations.
• I ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.
• I collaborate with external vendors to negotiate contracts and acquire IT services and equipment.
• I effectively manage the IT department’s budget and expenditures.
