Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Enterprise Cloud Architect to lead the design implementation and management of cloud infrastructure and applications across the organization. This role involves collaborating with senior leadership development teams and other stakeholders to create and implement scalable secure and high-performance cloud solutions that align with business goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud architecture a deep understanding of AWS Azure or Google Cloud and the ability to manage complex cloud environments.

Job Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud-based architectures for large-scale enterprise applications ensuring scalability security and high availability.
• Lead the cloud migration strategy and oversee the execution of cloud adoption across various departments.
• Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure using best practices including Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with tools like Terraform or CloudFormation .
• Work with development and operations teams to design and implement CI/CD pipelines for cloud environments.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance in selecting and deploying cloud technologies tools and services (such as AWS Azure Google Cloud).
• Evaluate and recommend cloud services and tools to meet the evolving needs of the business while optimizing for cost and performance.
• Collaborate with security teams to ensure that cloud infrastructure adheres to corporate security policies and regulatory compliance standards.
• Create and maintain cloud architecture documentation ensuring it is accurate and up to date.
• Provide subject matter expertise to the organization in cloud best practices including performance optimization disaster recovery and security management.
• Manage and optimize cloud costs ensuring the most efficient use of resources and budgets.
• Lead the design of hybrid and multi-cloud solutions that meet the businesss needs for reliability flexibility and scalability.
• Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders ensuring alignment between cloud strategies and business objectives.
• Mentor junior architects and engineers providing guidance on cloud architecture and related technologies.
• Ensure high-quality technical support and guidance for teams working with cloud platforms.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends best practices and advancements in cloud technology and architecture.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
• Proven experience (5 years) as an Enterprise Cloud Architect or in a similar senior-level cloud architecture role.
• In-depth experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud including the design and implementation of cloud-based systems.
• Strong experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform CloudFormation or Ansible .
• Expertise in cloud infrastructure services including compute storage networking and security.
• Experience with designing and implementing scalable secure and cost-effective cloud solutions.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g. Docker Kubernetes ) and microservices architecture.
• Strong understanding of cloud security principles including identity and access management (IAM) encryption and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in designing high-availability and disaster recovery strategies for cloud environments.
• Experience with cloud-based DevOps practices and CI/CD pipeline integration.
• Strong understanding of cloud networking including VPCs subnets firewalls VPNs and hybrid cloud environments.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams management and external partners.
• Ability to articulate cloud strategies and present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Masters degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
• Cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect .
• Experience in multi-cloud and hybrid cloud environments.
• Strong knowledge of serverless architectures and event-driven systems .
• Experience with cloud cost management and optimization strategies.
• Expertise in managing cloud-based big data and analytics environments.
• Familiarity with DevOps Agile methodologies and cloud-native application design patterns.
• Exposure to enterprise integration solutions such as enterprise service buses (ESBs) APIs and event streaming systems.
