Summary

This is a full-time on-site Assistant Teacher role at Dream Preparatory Academy, located in Greenville, SC. As an Assistant Teacher, you will be responsible for supporting the Lead Teachers in the classroom to ensure that the educational goals of the program are met. Duties may include working with small groups of children, preparing class materials, observing and monitoring children's behavior, and communicating with parents and other staff members.

Duties

• A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent is required, although some college coursework and/or an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or a related field is preferred.
• Prior experience working with young children is required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required, with a demonstrated ability to work in a team.
• Patience, creativity, and a passion for helping children learn are essential qualities for success in this role.
• Montessori and/or STEAM training and experience are preferred but not required.
• Must be willing to undergo a background check and meet all state licensing requirements.
