About the Role:

Our client, a growing company in the Cincinnati area, is seeking a hands-on Controller with strong experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. This individual will oversee the full accounting function, drive financial strategy, and serve as the in-house system expert for Business Central.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
*

Manage AP/AR, payroll, general ledger, and bank reconciliations
*

Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis for executive leadership
*

Act as the internal Business Central champion - optimizing workflows, reports, and system usage across departments
*

Collaborate with operations, supply chain, and sales teams to support strategic decision-making
*

Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls
*

Supervise and mentor accounting staff

Qualifications:

*

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred but not required)
*

7+ years of progressive accounting experience
*

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (NAV experience also considered)
*

Proven experience managing month-end close and financial reporting
*

Ability to lead process improvements and system enhancements
*

Excellent analytical and communication skills
