Job Description:
As a Civil Technician, you will be instrumental in the groundwork of our wireless infrastructure projects across the upper Midwest. This role involves significant travel, allowing you to work on various sites and projects across Minnesota, South Dakota, Iowa, and North Dakota. Your primary tasks will include performing dirt work, such as digging and preparing sites for construction using shovels and other hand tools. This position is physically demanding and requires a strong commitment to safety, precision, and endurance.
Key Responsibilities:
-Execute site preparation activities, including trench digging, excavation, and moving dirt using manual tools.
-Assist with the installation of underground conduits and foundational elements for wireless communication structures.
-Adhere to strict safety standards to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and your team members.
-Collaborate efficiently with project managers and team members to complete tasks promptly and effectively.
-Be prepared to travel extensively across Minnesota, South Dakota, Iowa, and North Dakota, as required by project demands.
-Adapt to various work environments and project requirements, showing flexibility and a positive work ethic.
-Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your knowledge of the wireless industry and support your career progression.
Requirements:
-Physical ability to perform manual labor for extended periods, including lifting, bending, and extensive digging.
-Willingness to travel widely and work in various outdoor conditions.
-Strong work ethic and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
-A valid driver's license
-No previous experience in the wireless industry is necessary; this is an entry-level role with comprehensive training provided.
-A high school diploma is not required for this position.
