Job Description:
Innovations Lighting is seeking a meticulous and reliable Warehouse General Worker with specialized experience in FedEx and UPS shipping operations. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing all aspects of shipping and receiving, ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of packages while upholding a clean and organized workspace.
Key Responsibilities:
Shipping Operations:
Prepare and process shipments through FedEx and UPS, including labeling and packaging.
Ensure accurate and timely dispatch of all outgoing shipments.
Receiving Operations:
Verify incoming shipments for accuracy and completeness.
Maintain accurate records of all shipments and inventory.
Team Coordination:
Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure proper handling and storage of goods.
Assist with stock management and perform regular inventory checks.
Equipment Operation:
Safely and efficiently operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (forklift certification is a plus).
Workplace Maintenance:
Maintain a clean and organized shipping and receiving area.
Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Previous experience in shipping and receiving, particularly with NetSuite, FedEx and UPS.
Skills:
Proficiency with shipping software and systems.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Physical capability to lift up to 25lbs and move heavy packages and stand for extended periods.
