Urgent Care and Family Medicine Medical Assistant Location Manchester Center, VT :

Manchester Medical Center is a provider-owned primary care and walk-in urgent care facility that is dedicated to providing high quality medical care to our ever-growing community. We are looking for a reliable, energetic hardworking medial assistant to join our team! We are hiring for a Family Practice MA and an Urgent CareThe MA/Lab position requires a Bachelor's degree or more than one year working in a laboratory with Moderately Complex & CLIA Waved lab analyzers.

Requirements/Responsibilities:

• Bachelor's degree or 1 year experience working in a lab with Moderately Complex and CLIA Waved analyzers.
• Family Practice experience preferred
• Pay rate compensatory with credentials (RN)
• Rooming patients which includes taking vital signs and thorough patient histories
• Assist the providers during exams and procedures
• Perform point of care tests such as EKG's and labs & COVID-19 testing
• Scribe: Accompany the providers while they examine the patients, recording details of the visit in real time and reviewing charts
• Assist with front office duties such as greeting patients, registration/scheduling, answering phones as needed
• Use of computer/electronic medical record system (EMR)
• Flexibility and adaptability in a busy work environment
• Assistance with general office maintenance duties shared by the team such as cleaning, organizing & restocking

Full time position available, flexibility for weekend rotation and coverage a must. Full time employees receive:

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
