The following provides a detailed description for the position of Water Swim Instructor. (WSI) Actual duties performed may vary.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

 

 Red Cross (preferred) Certification in swim instruction (or comparable certification)

 Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.

 Skill in the application of lifeguarding surveillance and rescue techniques.

 Knowledge of CPR and emergency medical procedures.

 Ability to follow routine verbal and written instructions.

 Knowledge of customer service standards and procedures.

 

 

 High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)

Physical Demands

 Position duties require daily standing, walking, sitting, lifting, bending, squatting, reaching and swimming.

Compensation: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
