Overview
We are seeking a skilled Reach Truck Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts and heavy equipment to facilitate the efficient movement of materials within our distribution center. This role requires a strong focus on safety, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members.

Duties

• Operate reach trucks,forklifts, including cherry pickers, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks, to load and unload materials.
• Safely transport goods throughout the warehouse and distribution center.
• Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring accurate inventory management.
• Perform regular inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure safe operation.
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and efficiency.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and productivity.
• Follow all company policies and safety regulations while operating heavy equipment.

Experience

• Previous experience in shipping and receiving is preferred.
• Familiarity with materials handling processes in a warehouse environment is advantageous.
• Experience operating various types of forklifts, including order pickers and clamp trucks.
• Knowledge of distribution center operations will be considered a plus.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
