**Job Description Summary**
Software Engineering Project Management is responsible for managing the execution of programs and/or projects consisting of single, multiple or system-level projects. Works within the constraints of budget, schedule and scope while managing and communicating risk and ensuring adherence to established processes and methodologies.
Seeking a highly motivated, self-directed, and experienced person to lead and adopt our defined SAFe Agile Software Development practices. The ideal candidate is a professional who is a program or project manager for a company that develops enterprise-class software applications, has led multiple teams of software engineers indirectly reporting to the candidate, with experience in managing geographically dispersed teams.
Strong management skills with a proven record of providing direction and leadership to others are essential. The candidate must be a highly effective communicator and problem-solver. The candidate must also possess demonstrated skills in leading and managing change; should possess the ability to pull together ideas and suggestions, shape them into a vision, and then implement this in the project plans.

**Key Responsibilities**
+ Managing large and complex projects or programs
+ Defining and managing scope, time, and resources
+ Facilitating risk/issue identification and developing mitigation plans
+ Refining project management methodologies
+ Communicating business implications to stakeholders
+ Consulting with senior management and non-technology personnel
+ Providing leadership through coaching, mentoring, and training
+ Driving consistency of departmental SAFe practices
+ Contributing to strategic goal-setting
+ Managing multiple project deployments and integrations
+ Leading cross-functional teams toward operational objectives
**Minimum Requirements**
+ Degree level qualification; or equivalent combination of education and experience
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in a related field
+ 6+ years of related work experience
+ Experience in highly government-regulated, healthcare/medical device environment
+ Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
+ OnePlan Portfolio Management knowledge
+ Practical knowledge and application of SAFe software development principles
+ Experience leading multiple teams of software engineers
+ Experience managing geographically dispersed teams
+ Experience in delivering products within an end-to-end software development life cycle (SDLC)
+ Ability to use Jira/Confluence
+ Strong management and leadership skills
+ Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
+ Experience working with matrixed resources
+ Solid understanding of software development work, practices, and culture
+ Understanding of stage-gate or similar innovation management processes
+ Meeting facilitation skills and action item tracking experience

$102,000.00 - $168,200.00 USD Annual
