We are seeking an **Operations Specialist Medical Records Reviewer** to join a rapidly expanding healthcare operations team dedicated to high-quality medical record processing and documentation review. In this role, you will serve as the final checkpoint before medical records are delivered to customers, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and clarity. You will review provider records, legal request packets, and documentation sets to verify proper organization, detect gaps, and confirm that all information required by customers is present.

This role also integrates advanced technology: you will work with proprietary AI tools to help generate medical summaries, chronologies, and insights. Your clinical judgment and familiarity with medical documentation will guide the refinement of AI outputs, ensuring they are medically accurate and aligned with the underlying source files.

You will collaborate closely with internal teams to address missing components, escalate issues, and support ongoing improvements to workflows and tooling. This is a long-term opportunity for someone who values precision, analytical work, and a strong focus on improving the medical documentation lifecycle.

## **Key Responsibilities**

* Conduct comprehensive reviews of completed medical record packets before delivery.
* Verify accuracy, correct organization, and completeness across all documentation.
* Identify missing records, misfiled pages, inconsistent dates, or incorrect labeling.
* Ensure that final outputs reflect the expectations outlined by operational standards.

### **AI-Assisted Documentation Review**

* Work with AI-powered tools to generate medical summaries, timelines, and key-case insights.
* Validate AI-generated content for clinical accuracy and document alignment.
* Edit, refine, and enhance AI outputs to ensure clarity, accuracy, and context.
* Provide feedback that supports continuous AI system training and improvement.

### **Escalation & Internal Collaboration**

* Flag incomplete packets, missing components, or inconsistencies requiring additional retrieval.
* Collaborate with operations and request-processing teams to correct issues.
* Communicate clearly with internal partners to ensure timely resolution.

### **Feedback Loop to Product & Engineering**

* Share insights on documentation trends, workflow bottlenecks, and common user errors.
* Recommend improvements to AI tooling, record-processing workflows, or review systems.
* Participate in iterative improvements to enhance efficiency and document quality.

## **What You Bring**

* Prior experience in **medical records review**, health information management, nursing, medical assisting, or related healthcare documentation roles.
* Strong understanding of medical terminology, documentation structures, and clinical workflows.
* Excellent written communication skills, especially for refining summaries and documenting findings.
* Tech-savvy, comfortable working with modern tools, and quick to learn new systems.
* High attention to detail, able to catch clinical inconsistencies and subtle documentation errors.
* Analytical mindsetcapable of interpreting clinical information and evaluating record relevance.
* Proactive, dependable, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
* Long-term commitment to supporting a growing healthcare operations function.

## **Why Work With Us**

* Join a team focused on healthcare quality and documentation excellence.
* Work directly with innovative AI tools shaping the future of medical operations.
* Long-term career development opportunities as the organization expands.
* Supportive team culture grounded in collaboration, feedback, and continuous improvement.
* Opportunities for overtime for those wanting additional workload.
