Live-In Childcare Helper (Part-Time, 20-25 hrs/week) - Polk, NC We are seeking a caring, responsible, and flexible live-in childcare helper to assist part-time (20 hours per week, with the possibility of additional hours) with our young children. This role offers a unique opportunity to live in a beautiful and peaceful lakefront setting (in a gated community), enjoy wellness amenities, and be part of a warm, bilingual family. Duties: - Supervise our toddler to ensure safety and happiness / engage and play with her if needed (she's good at playing by herself) - Assist with daily routines such as meals, naps, and playtime - Provide light childcare support for our newborn (due February 2026) as needed (post-birth) while Mama is nearby - Help maintain a tidy, child-friendly living space - Occasionally prepare simple snacks or meals for children - Flexibility to adjust hours as family needs change (some weekends or evenings possible) Accommodation and Amenities: You will have a fully furnished, private basement suite (~460 sq ft) featuring: - Spacious bedroom with dining corner and lake view - Private bathroom - Micro kitchen - Independent AC/heating controls Additional perks include: - Private entrance through our yoga studio - Access to paddleboards and kayak on the lake - Use of yoga, gym, and dance studio - Easy access to trails and nature - Utilities included (electricity, water, Wi-Fi) You are welcome to join family dinners on weekdays (Mama and the kids) at your discretion.
