Job Summary:

Urban Ecosystems is seeking a talented and experienced Landscape Architect / Graduate Landscape Architect / Landscape Designer with 3-10 years of experience to join our team.

This full time role will include design opportunities in all project phases, including concept/schematic design, design development, public engagement, construction documentation, and construction administration. We work with a number of different software types, including the adobe suite, revit, autocad, sketchup and lumion. We also work in a small office setting where collaboration is imperative and interpersonal skills are just as important as the work we produce.

Experience:

- MLA / BLA in Landscape Architecture or related field

- 3-10 Years Experience in a Landscape Architecture / Design Firm setting

- Professional Licensure not required, but valued commensurately to experience

Salary subject to negotiation based on skills and experience. After 6 months of successful employment, Urban Ecosystems will cover the costs associated with professional exams and ongoing continuing education and license renewals.

Duties:

- Develop conceptual designs, including site plans, renderings, and 3D models using software such as Sketchup, Lumion, Autocad, Revit, and GIS

- Prepare detailed construction drawings, specifications, and cost estimates using Revit

- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and other professionals to ensure the successful implementation of landscape projects

- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to project timelines and budgets

- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in landscape architecture

Skills:

- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Sketchup, AutoCAD, CAD, and Revit software programs

- Strong ability to illustrate design concepts using hand sketches and digital tools

- Project management skills to effectively plan, organize, and execute landscape projects

- Familiarity with construction processes and design contract administration processes

- Understanding of sustainable design practices and principles

- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, buildable construction drawings

- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with coworkers, clients and project stakeholders.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
