Job Summary

As a Lactation Consultant, you will be respponsible for:

• Assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation to assist the breastfeeding mother to attain her personal goals.
• Function as a member of the multi-discplinary health care team as a consultant, educator, and mentor to nurses, healthcare professionals and patients.

Education Required

Associate's Degree - Nursing

Education Preferred

Bachelor's Degree - Nursing

Experience

• 1-2 years Inpatient Breastfeeding Teaching Experience

License and Certification

• International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification Preferred
• Licensed Registered Nurse Required
