We're seeking a passionate Full-time Internal Medicine Specialty Intern to join our 24/7 Emergency and Specialty Referral hospital in San Marcos, California. Our highly skilled and motivated veterinary team works as a collaborative and collegial group to provide optimal care to our patients and their owners. Specialty interests, both in clinical practice and in research, are supported and encouraged. We have a very active teaching program for externs, rotating interns, specialty interns, and residents.

Position Details:
· Role: Full-time Internal Medicine Specialty Intern
· Salary: $72,000
· Location: San Marcos, California (Northern San Diego metro)
· Facility: Our 16,400 square foot facility boasts multiple treatment wards, 10 exam rooms, and four surgical suites
· Equipment: digital radiography, fluoroscopy, computed tomography (CT), MRI, two ultrasound machines, two endoscopy towers
· Support: You will be taught by four board-certified internal medicine specialists as well as internal medicine residents. You will have a direct support staff of internal medicine veterinary assistants and technicians, and have full access to our support staff of the hospital, client services, operations, etc.
· Participation in daily hospital rounds, weekly teaching rounds and internal medicine journal club.
· Future opportunity: An internal medicine residency opportunity may be available at our hospital after the internship. We can discuss this during the interview process.
