Rosebud Restaurants, a Chicago staple for nearly 50 years, is seeking Food Runners/Bussers to join the team at our new Boca Raton location! The ideal candidate will be able to perform calmly and effectively in a fast-paced environment, is a skilled multi-tasker, maintains a positive attitude and friendly demeanor, and most importantly, works diligently with our team to ensure all standards of guest services are met.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently deliver food orders from the kitchen to the designated tables, ensuring accurate and timely service.
• Familiarize yourself with the menu items to answer customer inquiries and make appropriate recommendations.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure all orders are complete and meet quality standards before delivery.
• Clear tables promptly after guests finish their meals, ensuring a clean and inviting dining area for incoming customers.
• Reset tables with clean utensils, napkins, and condiments, maintaining an organized and aesthetically pleasing dining setup.
• Monitor table turnover and assist in expediting service during peak hours.
• Provide attentive and courteous service to guests, addressing their needs and ensuring a positive dining experience.
• Anticipate guest requests and promptly fulfill additional requests for items like water refills, condiments, etc.
• Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the dining area, including sweeping, mopping, and wiping down surfaces regularly.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards by sanitizing tables, chairs, and all dining surfaces frequently.
• Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and other team members to optimize workflow and streamline service.
• Collaborate with the front-of-house and back-of-house teams to maintain a smooth and efficient dining operation.
• Support colleagues during busy periods, offering assistance wherever needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects with hands.
• Must be able to work on your feet for at least 8 hours.
• Must be able to lift at least 40 lbs.
• Fast paced movements are required to go from one part of the restaurant to another.
