Maintenance Technician
Beverage Manufacturing | 3rd shift (2-2-3) | $37- $40/hr.

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Food Maintenance Technician to join our team in Indianapolis, IN. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our food production facility. Your expertise will help maintain equipment and systems, ensuring they run efficiently and safely. If you have a passion for food safety and maintenance, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on food processing equipment.
Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Collaborate with production staff to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving equipment malfunctions promptly.
Implement preventive maintenance programs to extend the life of machinery.
Ensure cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas and tools.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in food processing technology.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in maintenance preferred.
Proven experience in maintenance, preferably in a food production environment.
Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair various types of equipment.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.

120/208/240/480 Voltage Systems
Electrical Installation
Boiler Certification

Variable Frequency Drives (VFD)

Conveyor Systems
