We are seeking a talented, motivated Sous Chef to join the culinary team at our prestigious private golf club . This is a unique opportunity to work in a beautiful setting with a dedicated membership and a strong focus on quality, consistency, and hospitality.

Position: Full-Time Sous Chef
Location: Hingham Ma.

Reports to: Executive Chef

About the Role

The Sous Chef will play a key leadership role in daily kitchen operations, ensuring exceptional food quality and presentation across à la carte dining, and tournaments. The ideal candidate is passionate about scratch cooking, organized, creative, and committed to delivering memorable dining experiences.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Executive Chef with menu development, inventory, ordering, and scheduling
• Lead and support the culinary team during prep, service, and events
• Maintain high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and organization
• Train and mentor kitchen staff
• Oversee banquet production and event execution
• Ensure consistency and excellence in all culinary offerings

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a supervisory kitchen role; private club or resort experience a plus
• Strong culinary foundation and knife skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain
• Creativity, professionalism, and a passion for hospitality
