Job Description

We are looking for a talented Curation Scientist to join one of our top biotechnology partners. The ideal candidate will have a PhD, a strong understanding of cancer pathways, and proficiency in data analysis. This position is onsite in Ann Arbor, MI.

CURATION SCIENTIST REQUIREMENTS

• PhD in Oncology, Cancer Biology, Molecular Biology, or Molecular Genomics
• Strong understanding of cancer pathways in various types of cancers
• Proficiency in data analysis
• Hands-on experience with NGS (bonus skill)
• Regulated product development on genetic counseling (bonus skill)
• Ability to work independently
• Strong communication and organization skills

CURATION SCIENTIST RESPONSIBILITIES

• A key responsibility will be reading extensive literature and curating the relevant data.
• The individual will be responsible for bringing data in-house and ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• They will curate all relevant data and integrate it into Thermo’s internal system.
• The position includes focusing on genetic markers in cancer and their role in driving cancer progression.
• This work will involve analyzing data associated with therapeutics.
• The individual will collaborate closely with the internal team and be actively involved in ongoing projects.
• The person in this position will work closely with software engineers and bioinformatics scientists.
