Job Description

We’re looking for Class A Local Drivers —both experienced and recent CDL graduates within 65 miles from Johnstown, NY ! This position offers local routes with home daily, competitive pay, and full benefits.

What You’ll Do:

• Drive 53’ refrigerated trailers on a dedicated account

• 100% no-touch freight (drop & hook + live store loads)

• Day or night driving required

• 5–6 day work week; slip seat trucks

• Average 1,800 miles/week

Pay & Benefits:

• $1,600+ average weekly pay 

• Rate per mile :$0.69–$0.81 based on experience
  

• $10 first stop / $15 each additional stop | $25 short-haul pay (<50 miles)
• Full benefits after 30 days: Medical, Dental, 401K, PTO

Trainee Program (for drivers with less than 6 months experience)

• Must be 21 with Valid Class A CDL.
• Graduate of accredited CDL school (120+ hours)
• Required 4–6 weeks of mentor training
• Paid training 
• Must have solid 10-year work history with no major gaps of unemployment

Requirements:

• 21+ years old with a valid Class A CDL
• Clean driving record: no major accidents, tickets, or suspensions in the past 5 years
• No DUI, felony, or misdemeanor in the last 5 years (all records reviewed by safety)
• Strong 10-year work history with minimal gaps
• Must pass urine and hair drug screens
• Must live within 65 miles from Johnstown, NY
