As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will play a key role in helping us improve our data-driven decision making. You will collect, analyze, and report on various aspects of our business, such as customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, market trends, and financial performance. You will also collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to identify and solve business problems, provide insights and recommendations, and create dashboards and visualizations to communicate your findings.
This is a full-time position based in our Birmingham, AL office. You will report to the Senior Business Intelligence Analyst and work closely with the IT, finance, marketing, sales, and operations teams.
Job Responsibilities
As a business intelligence analyst, your main responsibilities will include:
Collecting, cleaning, and transforming data from various sources using SQL, Excel, and other tools.
Analyzing and interpreting data using statistical and analytical techniques, such as regression, clustering, and forecasting.
Creating and maintaining reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, or other tools.
Presenting and communicating data insights and recommendations to the vice president of business intelligence and analytics and other stakeholders using clear and concise language.
Identifying and solving business problems using data-driven approaches and best practices.
Staying updated on the latest trends and developments in the pest control industry and the business intelligence field.
Job Requirements
To be considered for this position, you need to have:
A bachelor's degree in business, computer science, statistics, or related field.
Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and other data manipulation tools.
Experience in creating and maintaining reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, or other tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data in simple terms.
Knowledge of the pest control industry and its key metrics and drivers is a plus.
