LaSalle Network is partnering with a growing distribution company in Glenview, IL, to bring on an Accounts Receivable Specialist . In this fast-paced role, you'll manage high-volume collections, resolve discrepancies, and ensure invoices are accurate and on time, all while making a real impact and growing your AR and collections experience. 

Accounts Receivable Specialist – Responsibilities: 

• Collect on past-due invoices via phone and email, apply payments, reconcile accounts, and resolve discrepancies such as short pays, overpayments, and duplicate payments. 
• Review and process credit balances, assess orders on hold, and support credit evaluations. 
• Monitor and maintain customer accounts, documenting collection status, communications, and obtaining proof of deliveries (PODs) as needed. 
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Operations to resolve billing and payment issues. 
• Support month-end reporting, reconciliations, and other tasks as assigned. 

Accounts Receivable Specialist – Requirements:

• 2+ years of B2B collections or Accounts Receivable experience: 
  • Experience managing at least $500k–$1M in monthly collections. 
• Familiarity with Oracle, AS400, SAP, or similar ERP systems. 
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs). 
• High school diploma or GED  required , additional education a plus. 
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Detail-oriented, team player, dependable, and proactive.

Compensation: $24-26/hour (depending on experience, skill set, and contract terms)
